Hi - I had one of those "Viagra", "Casino" re-directors, or whatever they
are called, on my computer for weeks. Each time I opened my browser it would
go to some on-line casino. There were weird bookmarks in my favorites and I
could not get rid of the thing. I have Norton (didn't work) I ended up
trying 3 spybot finders and three virus programs with no luck. I was about
ready to back up my documents and format the drive when I found your program
on Google by searching for Wurldmedia.

Anyhow, Xoftspy caught 11 registry entries and one program!!! This is right
after Norton, Spbbot, Adaware and a few others checked the drive. Best of
all the stupid casino pop-up and desktop link are GONE and there are no more
Viagra and other bookmarks!

I recently purchased the xoftspy program,and after doing a scan i found i had over 10,000 assorted spyware,adware and even a hijacker.I deleted the files and i can't believe how much faster my computer is at loading things.I was using the yahoo spy,and adaware se personal.I now know they don't work worth crap.Thank you very much on creating such a wonderfull program.

Xoftspy is a fine program and finds CWS variations better than SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor, Ad-Aware SE Personal, Spybot S & D, ewido and Intermute's SpySubtract - I have them all and I consider XoftSpy tops!!! Thanks again. An interesting point: in a Lockergnome newsletter I read that all anti-spyware programs put together find only a small percentage of actual spyware. Laura, thanks so much for your help. It FINALLY worked. I had to go into dos/safe mode to delete a few dll's and exe's. I could not delete in regular safe mode because they were being used by Windows. Every time I deleted the exe's, they returned immediately. your latest XoftSpy version/update has seemed to have 'cured' my problem! The 2 offending CWS.Hompage registry items have been removed, or at least if they were 'ghosts' or whatever that showed up in the scans, well, they are gone. I thank you and your staff for all the help. If I experience anymore problems I'll be in touch.

I started having some nasty problems on my Laptop. I needed a fix. I went into trusty "Google" and searched by using the variant's name, about:blank. Finding that it was indeed a virus, I found XoftSpy in my Searching for help. I read all the things you say you will do for me and all of the testimonies from others who claim just how wonderful your software is. Frankly, at this moment in my life and my laptops life, I could care less about others feelings. I just wanted my feelings, and my laptops feelings fixed. I bite the bullet, paid out the bucks and downloaded your software. OK, now me and my laptop should be happy. Right?? Wrong!!!!!!!! It did not take care of my problem. I wrote to your Support dept. They wrote back to me within 8 or so hours, ( I don't know, I was sleeping) and said, send us your latest log. Told me how to do that so proceeded to send them a log. OK, Thinking to myself, yea, I just bite into another scam and nothings going to happen. Well, I send the log off that evening, went to sleep again, and the next morning I got the bad news from your Laura in your Support Dept.. My poor old putor has something called CoolWebSearch and God knows what else. Should I just give up and take this beautiful laptop out to the back pasture and put my shotgun to its hard drive and put it out of its pain and my misery?? OK, Lets at least give it one more shot, not with the shotgun, but with what Laura from XS (thats XoftSpa for short)Support has to say. Took awhile, (waiting for windows downloading, etc. OK, so now it all finished. Now its time to see if my trusty old laptop is still on its last leg....or....Hmmmmm its not doing all those nasty things any more. Fact is, my laptop feels young, healthy, and full of life again. All those things that CoolWeBSearch was doing to my laptop has gone away, I now have better protection against it happening again and.........I can go back to buying on ebay. You are to be complimented on the ease, understandability, and speed of the download process. The product is extremely user-friendly to use, and I have been able to set up a routine scan with no trouble. The speed of the scan is nothing short of miraculous, compared to competitive products.

I did have a technical glitch with being able to download new updates to the software; however, the uninstall process, the new download process, and the re-registration process are so incredibly simple, that I am in awe of how technically sophisticated your programmers must be to develop this. You must have that one in a million person who actually considers the user when doing development. Am I glad I ran across your software on the ZDNET website....I was having extroadinary troubles removing spyware from my two computers, one on Verizon DSL the other on Comcast Cable. Hi, Thankyou for your Xoftspy software. I ran it and it took a couple of times through, but it completely removed the "quicknavigate" problem. Success! I can BREATHE again. After extremely slow processing, shutdowns and blue screens, I knew something was just terribly wrong with my computer. No one (certainly, not me) blames the company for putting out a definitions release that erroneously reports spyware.
